Kids thrive with dirt! Explore the wonder of farming and sustainable food systems through hands-on activities geared for children ages 5-10. Christina Chan, farmer and educator at Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s Urban Farm, will demonstrate planting using seeds and transplants, and introduce us to the friendly worms that make our compost. We’ll even get a chance to taste things that are growing!
