NOTE: Please allow yourself enough time for parking and prep to help us hit the trail on time at 3 PM.

Let’s burn off some those vegan Thanksgiving calories with a fun afternoon of hiking and socializing with vegan adventurers! From the trailhead at the east end of Copper Ave NE we’ll take trail 400 east to trail 375 and 365 south and we will end up at the Aluminum Yucca on the north side of I-40. We will investigate the Aluminum Yucca briefly, and learn a bit about its history, before heading north back to the trailhead.

Park on Copper Ave. Don’t park on the side streets unless you happen to live there and have the appropriate parking permit.

This is a moderately difficult hike. Please be prepared with at least a moderate level of physical conditioning before deciding to attend.

There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead.

In case you bring along any snacks for yourself, please respect all participants of this ABQ Vegan event by ensuring that they are completely vegan (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, and no honey).
