What: Embudito Trail hike plus vegan brunch at The Acre
Time: Saturday, June 22nd, 9:30 AM

Location: Embudito Trailhead, east end of Trailhead Rd NE, Albuquerque NM

This is a kind of difficult hike, long steep sections and a few places where you have to step up 12 to 15 inches. Beautiful rock formations, and some trees as we get to the higher portions. We will hike up the trail for about an hour, and then turn around and return by the same route. 4 to 5 miles in about 2 hours. Bring water!

As a post hike option: Brunch at The Acre, (Comfort Food without the Meat) 4410 Wyoming Blvd NE at Montgomery, behind Walgreens.

The Acre offers a vegan brunch menu on the weekend with vegan versions of traditional breakfast and lunch dishes and some really big vegan deserts. Please respect all members of this ABQ Vegan Meetup event by ensuring that any food we bring along for the hike or order at the restaurant is completely plant-based (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, and no honey). If you would like to join for the brunch only that would be great too. We will plan to be at the restaurant by noon.
