Let’s hit the trail for a fun evening of hiking and socializing with vegan adventurers! From the trailhead at the east end of Copper Ave NE we’ll take trail 400 east to trail 375 and 365 south and we will end up at the Aluminum Yucca on the north side of I-40. We will investigate the Aluminum Yucca briefly, and learn a bit about its history, before heading north back to the trailhead.

It will get dark. BRING A FLASHLIGHT!

Park on Copper Ave. The gate to the little parking lot may close at 9 PM. We will almost certainly be back in plenty of time, but I’d recommend parking outside of the gate on the street just to be extra safe. Don’t park on the side streets unless you happen to live there and have the appropriate parking permit.

There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead.
