Hey Herbivores – it’s time to get our hike on! This is a fairly steep hike (1,400 ft) up to High Meadow. The good news is it’s mostly shaded. Afterwards, anyone interested can hit Aleworx (at the Y) for some great wood-fired pizza. The hike is between 7 and 8 miles round-trip and dogs are welcome. Recommended: layers, sunscreen and plenty of water. Not recommended for beginners or those not in good shape.

Meet at 9 am in the parking lot at High Meadow Trailhead, at the end of High Meadow Trail as shown in map below. Or if you just want to join for lunch, meet at Aleworx at 12:30 or so.

Note we will meet at, and start from, the dirt parking lot at the end of the paved road called “High Meadow Trail.” See map/pin below. Any trouble finding us, call me at[masked].
