“How to Have a Healthy Happy Holiday and THRIVE through the New Year” – presented by June Denney, RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist).
This presentation will address the health challenges America is facing and the influence of the holiday season. June will cover how to enjoy the season fully without compromising your well-being.
June Denney is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She obtained a BS degree in Food Science and Nutrition then went on to complete her internship at the USC Medical Center. She has been thoroughly enjoying her career for the last 35 years.
June loves sharing her passion for health through plant based food and fitness, consulting with private patients, groups and corporations. At Barton’s Wellness Center she assists in the Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) and teaches fitness classes at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC). In addition, she and her talented colleagues bring it to the kitchen with “Plant-Based Tahoe” a dynamic culinary team. They provide a real world experience, instructing students in the skills of cooking Whole Food Plant Based No Oil at LTCC. June, her husband Mike and dog Tess savor the Tahoe life: biking, hiking, snow skiing, sky skiing and paddle boarding.
