Due to legal and health/safety concerns around COVID19, we (the group that co-creates and promotes the Annual Rancho Park Vegan Potluck on Thanksgiving Day) decided that we will not be co-creating or promoting an in person event at Rancho Park this year. We made this decision during the annual volunteer meeting (which occurred on October 11th this year and is where everyone is invited share their perspectives and make decisions about this event as a community). We also decided to request that members of the community refrain from going to Rancho Park on Thanksgiving Day this year.

We intend to plan for an virtual event in it’s place and to have a volunteer/planning meeting for this event via Zoom on Sunday October 25th from 12PM-2PM. Please join us to help make our virtual vegan celebration on Thanksgiving Day all that it can be. We have never offered a virtual event like this so we need your ideas, love, energy, and contributions.

If you would like to participate in the Zoom meeting, please call Dave or Melissa by 10AM on Sunday the 25th (preferably sooner) to get the information you need to join the call.

Everyone is welcome to attend the planning meeting . While coming to the meeting may provide you with information that you may find valuable and a chance to participate in the decision making process, YOUR ATTENDANCE IS NOT REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER. If you are not available to participate in the planning meeting and would nevertheless like to help, please call Dave at the number above.
