Plant Healthy Potluck 8/22/19

Join us for a plant-based potluck celebrating Plant Healthy St. Pete, a social group that embraces the health benefits of eating a whole foods plant-based diet!
This month of August on Thursday the 22nd from 6PM-8PM we will have special guest Dr. Soham Patel in person giving a live talk about “Healing the Whole You” with a Q&A session afterwords!
Soham Patel, MD is a local Board certified Endocrinologist focusing on preventive lifestyle modification with whole food plant based nutrition along with necessary medications in his treatment strategies for chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid and other endocrine issues. Dr. Patel walks the talk and inspires the people he comes in contact with to adopt a healthy plant based lifestyle, having extensive experience in using the healing power of plants for reversing insulin resistance to help lower medications and improve quality of life for his diabetes patients!
INSTRUCTIONS: Bring a dish to serve 6-8 people and a beverage if you want something other than water, which will be provided. Recipes should be plant-based, low in sugar, salt and fat, and should not contain meat, chicken, fish, oil, eggs, cheese, milk or other dairy products.
Note cards will be available to name your dish and indicate any known allergens like nuts.
Dinnerware, silverware and napkins will be provided.
