Presented together with Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan.
We all know that food choices play a role in many aspects of health, but many people may not realize that nutrition can also influence the brain, particularly the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Join us as Neal Barnard, MD, presents scientific findings on the role of fats, vitamins, and certain metals on brain health. He’ll explore studies revealing clues about helpful versus harmful foods and discuss how aerobic exercise and sleep also play important roles in cognitive health.
Neal Barnard, MD, is an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine, board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Registration fee: $25. Enter PLANT5 at check-out to receive a $5 discount.
Proof of vaccination for all participants is required in the JCC building. Wearing masks is encouraged.
