We will be having the 1st volunteer day at Santuario de Karuna since covid. We will be there this Weds (July 14) if anyone else can help us at the sanctuary. It will be hard work so nothing glamorous but the sanctuary and animals sure would appreciate it! Lots of poop mucking and hauling hay and cleaning out animal houses and stuff like that!

We will all meet at 9am at the sanctuary in Tijeras. Take a quick 10 min tour of the place and animals but the main focus is to do work and help them.

Some important info:
-Will be required to sign waiver. Link to waiver:

-Wear closed toe shoes
-Bring lots of Water to stay hydrated (it’s up in the Mtns)
-Appropriate clothes and hat for protection from sun
-If bring snacks, please vegan
-This will be labor intensive
– No children under 16 since will be labor intensive

If can’t make it this Weds, we will also be doing another volunteer day the following Weds (July 21) and Sat (July 31) both at 9am. See separate meetups for those days.
