Vegan Cooking Class – Introduction to Tofu

Learn how to cook with a protein-rich, healthful super-food – tofu.
We will cook creamy herbed tofu ricotta to make a gluten-free lasagna as well as a melt-in-mouth dark chocolate tofu pudding.
In this class, you will also learn:
・How to choose the right type of tofu for your cooking
・Where to buy good tofu and what to look out for when selecting
・How to prepare tofu for cooking
・How to preserve tofu after you open the package
・Health benefits of tofu
Herbed Tofu GF Lasagna: silken tofu, cashew nuts, fresh basil, garlic, mushrooms, marinara sauce
Muddy Dark Chocolate Tofu Pudding: silken tofu, dark chocolate, medjool dates, fresh raspberries
The class is hands-on and we will all cook together and eat the food we made at the end of the class.
The event will be followed by a Japanese Vegan food festival at the same venue, so we hope you can join both to enjoy all the tasty plant-based food with us!
