What: Bear Canyon easy, early morning hike

Let’s ease back into hiking and socializing with other vegans on this pretty easy hike of about 3.5 to 4 miles. We’ll have it wrapped up by 9:30, before it gets too hot, so you will still have most of your day available afterward.

Please respect all attendees of this ABQ Vegan Meetup event by ensuring that any snacks or drinks that you bring along for yourself are vegan.

Drivers, please allow a few extra minutes for parking so we’ll be able to hit the trail at 7:30. Parking is free at this location, but the parking lot will probably fill up early. There is also some street parking available on side streets off of High Desert Place about a quarter mile south of the main trailhead parking lot.

If you are running late: High tail it out on the Michial Emery Trail. We’ll be taking a loop so you will likely be able to either catch up to us or encounter us head on.
