Bring your favorite (fully prepared) Quinoa Power Bowl INGREDIENTS to share!
Tracy will bring specially prepared Anti-Inflammatory Quinoa & Dressing and share the recipe with you all!
QUINOA POWER BOWL INGREDIENT Ideas: (Please post in the comments what items you will be bringing)
-Beans; Garbanzo, Red Kidney, Black Beans, White Northern, Lentils – If bringing canned beans, please pre-rinse and pre-soak a couple hours. Soaking allows the beans to release indigestible sugars.
-Nuts; almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans or pistachios
-Lettuce; arugula, spring mix, baby spinach, kale
-Cherry Tomatoes; Yellow & red
-Red Cabbage (pre-chop)
-Cucumbers (sliced)
-Celery (ribbed and sliced)
-Roasted veggies; red & yellow peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, carrots, corn, brussel sprouts, butternut squash, etc.
-Cooked Pasta; all varieties welcome including GF
-Cooked Grain; farro, black rice, brown rice, bulgur, buckwheat, millet
-Tofu; marinated and baked, or seasoned and stir-fried, air fried
-Tempeh
-Roasted Mushrooms; any variety
-Sprouts and baby power greens
-Brocolli & Cauliflower; roasted or raw
-Snap peas
-Onions; scallions, thin sliced red, caramelized yellow
-Seeds; sunflower, sesame, pumpkin, pine nuts
-Salad Fruit; dried cranberries, dried cherries, fresh blueberries, strawberries, raspberries
-Avocado
